What interests me most in the field of Early Childhood and Primary Education is the cognitive development of learners and pedagogy that can be used to improve this domain. This led me to conduct my undergraduate research on how pupils can learn more effectively while playing. My study focused on using a game, specifically Scrabble, to teach learners literacy. The study revealed that pupils taught with Scrabble performed extremely well. This finding interests me so much, and I have decided to always focus on strategies that can improve and aid teaching and learning at that level of Education.
